Meet the teacher - Kate

“Movement has been a constant in my life for nearly two decades — but what began as a way to cope became the compass that shaped everything I am today.”

Founder of Sass Wellbeing Studio & Coffee House
Movement Educator | Wellness Coach | ADHD Advocate

Back in 2012, yoga helped me find steadiness through anxiety, panic attacks, and burnout. What started as a doctor’s advice — “do something that makes you happy every day” — slowly became a lifeline. Over time, that practice evolved into a calling. I trained, taught, studied, and eventually built a life around helping others reconnect to their bodies and themselves.

Fast forward to today — I’m 40, in the best physical and mental shape of my life, and I’m proud to lead a thriving community of teachers, movers and dreamers at Sass. My ADHD diagnosis has given me a deeper understanding of the way we all move through life — sometimes scattered, sometimes powerful, always evolving. It’s taught me that discipline can coexist with softness, and that movement isn’t just about strength — it’s about awareness, compassion and choice.

My classes blend Pilates, functional movement, yoga philosophy, and mobility training to help you move better, feel stronger, and live longer — in a body that feels like home. I’m especially passionate about making movement accessible to everyone, which is why I adore teaching our Men’s Classes — spaces where conversation, curiosity and confidence grow with every session.

What I love most is seeing connection happen — between people, between breath and body, between mind and heart. That’s what Sass was built on: real humans, real stories, real community.
